Please note that the main AVIEN web site is now at http://www.avien.net. Some pages at www.avien.org are (or will be) maintained for the moment, pending migration to the main site. Some pages and links have been or will be changed or dropped as they're not necessarily compatible with the aims and ethos of AVIEN in the 21st century. There are likely to be further changes in the near future. This page was last changed on 14th June 2008 by David Harley, AVIEN Chief Operations Officer.

AVIEN and AVIEWS are (or rather were) international on-line communities dedicated to a cooperative, grassroots information sharing effort to reduce the impact of malicious code (viruses, worms, Trojan Horses, Spyware) and other related vulnerabilities. In 2008, the two sister organizations were consolidated into a single organization still called AVIEN (AVIEWS was an offshoot of AVIEN), but combining the functions and membership lists of both organizations.
