A few words about Robert Vibert, Founder of AVIEN / AVIEWS

Robert Vibert is considered one of the dinosaurs of the Anti-Virus world - he's been around it so long that people wonder why he has not fossilized yet. Well, maybe he has and we just did not notice it yet... :)

Besides founding AVIEN and AVIEWS, he writes about viruses, anti-virus management and other related security topics when the whim to do so strikes him about the body. He likes to have fun.

Robert was the CDO (Chief Donut Officer) of AVIEN/AVIEWS from it's inception in late 2000, until December 31st 2003, and again from mid-2004 until August 2007, when he passed the poisoned chalice to David Harley. (Since 2008, when AVIEN and AVIEWS were reconsolidated into a single organization managed by Andrew and Christine Lee of ByteMatrix, and David Harley of Small Blue-Green World.
